Mentoring and leadership for young women, plus separate school-linked girls' clubs.

Purpose

Girls Lead Green is intended to support young women to lead environmental action through mentoring and leadership development. School-age girls are planned to take part through separate, school-linked girls' clubs.

Who it is for

Young women (adult mentoring strand) and school-age girls (separate school-linked clubs, arranged with schools and caregivers).

Delivery stage

In design. Planned as part of the proposed Freetown pilot; not yet delivered.

Eligibility

Adult mentoring places will be described when a cohort is approved. School-age girls take part only through schools and caregivers, not through individual online applications.

Questions

Can a school-age girl apply directly?

No. Girls' clubs are arranged with schools and caregivers. Schools or caregivers can get in touch through the contact form.

Is this separate from the adult strand?

Yes. Adult mentoring and school-linked girls' clubs are separate pathways.
